1825 Great Britain Entire cd T.P Duke St MS-Boston, MS-Lincoln's Inn Fields Entire cancelled with an interesting T.P Duke St MS, and a handstamped 2 both on front. The T.P stands for the two penny post, a system where depending on how far you were from the General Post Limit, to which the two penny stamp would be given depending on location and distance from the Post limit. A three penny post would be added soon after this Entire. Interesting Cancel. The Entire has writing from Charles Mills to BC Williams, regarding the request for a meeting. The letter states the former cannot meet of certain dates due to being away. Entire has a nice date stamp on back, dated and timed to 26 MR 1825 10am. The 10 F Noon stands for 10 Fore noon, as in before noon. Entire sent to Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, and has been opened at back at wax seal. Entire has a horizontal crease through middle of entire, some marking on both sides, some age wear on both sides, and some general wear to entire.
