1854 Great Britain Cover ties 1p Stamp cd 76D4B to Greys Inn w Letter Cover with a 1p Reddish Brown QV perfed stamp on front cancelled with a Parmenter/LPHG type 76D4B cancel, known from Dec. 1853-May 1855 Rarity D. There is also another cancel on back this being an unpaid date cancel: 5Ev5 OC 5 1854. There is adhesive cancelled with obliterator of London district Post, issued to the chief office about 1851. There is a Cornhill receiving house name stamp, this type being used during the twopenny post period after 1802. There is also a small piece of paper with writing on the front, that has a vertical crease through the middle and some marking. Letter has a wax seal on back that has been damaged from opening. Slight wear to edges and corners with some horizontal creasing through middle of Letter from folding, and some marking on both sides of Letter, mainly on front.
