1858 Great Britain Cover ties 2 Stamps cd Lanark-Cheltenham
Cover with 2 1d Reddish Brown Watermark 4 P16 SG 36 QV Stamps on front cancelled with a Lined Horizontal Numeral 215, Lanark cancel on stamps. Cover sent to Cheltenham, UK, with a sending cancel on back for Lanark dated MY 18 1858, an Undated Crossford transit cancel on back, a Birmingham transit cancel on back dated to MY 19 58, and a receiving cancel on back dated the same. Cover also has a Wax seal on back and a piece of hard card inside for rigidity. Cover has been opened at back flap. Cover has some tearing on back and back flap from opening, some age wear on both sides, some marking, some scuffing and mild damage to stamp corners, and some general wear to both sides.
