1859 Great Britain Mourning Cover ties 1d stamp cd Torquay-Londonderry
Mourning Cover with a 1d Reddish Brown 1d KE QV Stamp Perf 14 on front cancelled with a Framed TORQUAY JA 11 59 (805 for Torquay) Duplex cancel on stamp. Cover sent to Londonderry, Northern Ireland, with a Dublin transit cancel on back dated to JA 12 1859, and another cancel on back dated to JAN 13 1859. Cover has been opened at back. Cover has had back flap removed, some scuffing on edges and corners, some age wear on both sides, some mild toning on front, some mild damage to left side of stamp, and some general wear.
