1899 Sierra Leone Registered 2p Stamped Cover ties 3 stamps cd Freetown-UK Registered Cover with a Preprinted Blue 2p QV stamp on back flap. Cover also has 2 1d Lilac Carmine QV Stamps on front. Stamps are cancelled with a Framed FREETOWN MY 5 99 SIERRA LEONE cancel on stamps. There is also a Brown oval REGISTERED MY 5 99 FREETOWN SIERRA LEONE cancel on front. Cover sent to Hull, England, with a REGISTERED 19 MY 99 LIVERPOOL transit cancel on front, and 2 HULL MY 20 99 NW receiving cancels on back. Cover has been opened at bottom edge and at side edges, and as such caution is adviced when handling this item. Cover has a fold through middle vertically, some scuffing on edges and corners, some age wear on both sides, some evident creasing on back corners, and some general wear.
