1916 Rare Australia MacRobertson's Naval and Military Allies Decs-17/24+13 Dups
Very Rare group of 30 Cards from the 1916 MacRobertson's Confectionery Naval and Military Decorations of the Allies Series of Chocolate Cards. Group contains 17/24 of the set, as well as 13 Duplicates. Condition varies, with some cards having more toning and age wear than others, as well as some edge scuffing. MacRobertson's was an Australian Company based in Fitzroy founded in 1880, and is mostly known for being the original creators of Freddo Frog, before the company was sold to Cadbury during the 1940s. This is an extremely interesting set of First hand WW1 memorabilia from the Allied side, and these cards are scarcely found for sale.
