1917 Australia Censor Cover cd Field Post Office DW3-Birmingham Censor Cover cancelled with a Framed double ringed FIELD POST OFFICE DW3 17 AP 17 cancel on front. This cancel was issued to the Head Quarters of the 3rd Infantry Division in November 1916. During April 1917, the division was at Steenwerk, Flanders. Cover comes with an informative sheet. Cover also has a Passed Field Censor 3661 cachet on front. Cover sent to Birmingham, UK and has been opened at top edge. Cover has some scuffing and creasing on edges and corners, a vertical crease through middle of cover, some hinge remnants on back. and some general wear to both sides.
