1917 Russia Censor Cover ties 20K stamp cd Petrograd-Gråbrødretorv Military Censorship Cover with a Petrogradskaya Military Censor Label on right side. Cover has a Bluish Green 20K O/P 14K Nicholas II stamp on front cancelled with a Framed Inner Bar PETROGRAD 24 3 17 cancel on stamp. Cover has a 61 P Censor cachet on front, and a Purple Censor cachet on back, possibly refering to Censor Officers/Censor Office Numbers. Cover sent to Copenhagen, Denmark, with 2 Petrograd transit cancels, one on front dated to 16 4 17, and one on back dated to 8 April 1917, and a receiving cancel on back for the 4th of May, 1917. Transit likely took a long time due to the ongoing First World War. Cover has been opened at top edge. Cover has some vertical creasing through middle, some scuffing on edges and corners, some damage to top edge and corners from opening, some age wear and mild toning on both sides, and some general wear.
