1918 Germany POW Reg Cover from Fort Gorgast-Copenhagen No Stamp POW Registered Cover with a Checked Commander Cüstrin cachet on front. Cover has likely been sent from Fort Gorgast, Germany, and was sent to Copenhagen, Denmark. Cover was sent on 17/5/18. Cover has been opened at back flap. Cover has some tearing on back, a vertical crease through middle, some horizontal creasing through top edge, some age wear on back, and some general wear to both sides. with a Framed Inner Bar MEMEL 27 8 17 cancel on front. Memel is now Klaipėda, Lithuania. Cover also has a checked and approved cachet on front. Cover has no stamp. Cover sent to Copenhagen, Denmark, with possible part of receiving/transit cancels on back. Cancels are illegable. Cover has been opened at bottom edge. Cover has some creasing and scuffing on edges and corners, some marking/age wear on back, and some general wear to both sides.
