Tartan Chocolate McIntyre Bros Champion Eleven, 1920-21 series Card of C.G.Macartney. C.G.Macartney, nicknamed The Governer General, was one of the most elegant batsmen in the history of the sport, Donald Bradman citing him as a major inspiration on his batting. He played 35 test matches, and was known for his authoritative batting style and his flamboyant strokeplay. He is considered one of, if not the greatest Australian cricketer of his era, having at the time the fastest triple century in the history of the sport. Card gives an interesting look into popular sports figures a century ago. Card has some scuffing on edges and corners, mainly on bottom left corner, some age wear on back, and some general wear to both sides. Very rare card showcasing one of the most legendary Australian cricketers in history.
