1921 Great Britain Reg Cover ties 2 stamps cd Hampstead-New York City
Registered Letter with a 1d KGV Red stamp and a 3d Purple Violet KGV stamp both on front cancelled with a Framed SWISS COTTAGE BO ?? MY 21 cancel on stamps. Cover also has a Registered label on front for Hampstead, a Wax London seal on back, and a Swiss Cottage cachet on back. Cover sent to New York City, NY, USA, with a Registered Hampstead transit cancel on back dated to 28 MY 21, a NY transit cancel on back dated to JUN 12 1921, and a registered Purple New York receiving cancel on back dated to JUN 13 1921. Cover has been opened at back. Cover has some scuffing on edges and corners, some tearing on back, some mild age wear on both sides, and some general wear to both sides.
