D W Griffith was known as a highly seminal director figure in the early film industry, pioneering many aspects of editing and directing. He was and is mostly known for his techniques in the creation of The Birth of a Nation, and Intolerence, primarily the first of which giving him a stained reputation both during the time and especially in retrospect. Card gives an interesting look into popular and important figures a century ago. Card has some scuffing on edges and corners, creasing on bottom edge, some age wear on back, and some general wear to both sides.
