Cook and Sons LTD Airmail Cover with a 2A Purple KGV Stamp and a 3A Blue KGV Stamp both on front cancelled with a Framed Double Ringed CALCUTTA GPO 23 MAR 27 cancel on stamps. Cover also has an Air Mail Karachi Cachet across stamps. Cover sent to Cairo, Egypt, with a Basrah transit cancel on back dated to 31 MAR 27, and a receiving cancel on back dated to 4 IV 27. Cover also has 2 wax seals on back. Cover has not been opened. Cover has a large vertical crease through middle, some creasing on corners, some age wear on both sides, some general wear to both sides, and some minor tear and wear to stamps.
