1934 British Forces in Egypt Prepaid Cover ties 1P stamp cd MPO Cairo Type 1
Cover with a 1P Green British Forces in Egypt Letter Stamp on back cancelled with an indescript black cancel. Cover also has a Framed Inner Bar Type 1 MPO 17 DE 34 CAIRO cancel on front, and a POSTAGE PREPAID EGYPT 22 Red Double Ringed Cancel on front. Stamp is cancelled 12 Days after first day of issue. Cover sent to Kempston, UK, and has been opened at top edge. Cover has some tearing at top edge from opening, some marking on both sides, some scuffing on edges and corners, some tearing on back, and some general wear to both sides. Stanley Gibbons Reference A8.
