1935 United States Bryd's Return Cover+Program 2c stamp cd Boston sent Locally Cover and Program commemorating the return of Admiral Byrd from his second Antarctic Expedition in 1935. Program details the running order of events on the 16th May, 1935 for the commemoration, and inside cover there is another flier for the Boston Common 300th Anniversary Occurence. Cover has a Carmine 2c George Washington stamp on front cancelled with a Framed BOSTON MASS MAY 16 1935 cancel on front, with a 7 bar roller cancel across stamp. Cover sent locally to Boston, MASS, and has been opened at top edge. Cover has some tearing damage to back flap and top edge from opening, some scuffing on edges and corners, and some age wear on both sides.
