1939 Ireland Airmail Cover ties 2 stamps cd Dublin-Lincolnton
Airmail First Flight Cover commemorating the First Flight Between Shannon, Botwood, Shediac and New York with a commemorative cachet on front. Cover also has a 3d Blue New Daily Stamp and a 1/- Blue New Daily Stamp both on front cancelled with a Framed BAILE ATHA CLIATH 30 JUNE 1939 cancel on front. Cover sent to Lincolnton, NC, USA, with a New York transit cancel on back dated to JUL 1 1939. Cover has not been opened. Cover has some scuffing on edges and corners, some age wear on both sides, mostly on edges, and some general wear to both sides.
