Prisoner of War Cover from Camp 7 Eastern Command (Hay), Sydney with boxed SYDNEY 12 NOV 1940 and DEFENCE FORCE MAIL NO POSTAGE REQUIRED cancels and purple Prisoner of War C.S. Thane Lt Col Comdt HAY. and Passed By Censor S.169 handstamps on front, sent to Chicago USA. German, Italian and Japanese civilians, internees and Prisoners of War were kept in three Prison Camps at Hay between 1940 and 1946. Some wear to edges, tear at top edge and a few toning marks.
