1942 India Reg Censor Cover 2 Stamps cd Calcutta-Chicago Registered Censor Cover with a 3.5A Light Blue KGVI stamp and a Reddish Brown 1/2A KGVI stamp both on front cancelled with a Framed Double Ringed CALCUTTA FEB 42 cancel on stamps and front. Cover also has a Imperial Bank of India cachet on front, a registered label on front, a censor label on left side, some wax seals on both sides, and 2 triangular passed by censor cachets on front. Cover sent to Chicago, USA, with 2 New York transit cancels on back dated to 2 15 1942, and a receiving cancel on back dated to FEB 16 1942. Cover has been opened at top and side edges, so caution when handling is advised. Cover has some tearing on edges and corners from opening, some scuffing and mild creasing on edges and corners, a staple on top part of cover at back, some age wear on both sides, and some toning on registered label.
