1946 Gilbert and Ellice Islands WW2 End FDC 2 stamps cd Tarawa Cover commemorating The End of the Second World War with 2 commemorative stamps on front cancelled first day of issue with a Framed Double Ringed TARAWA DE 16 46 cancel on stamps. Cover is sent to Suva, Fiji and has been opened at back. Cover has some evident tearing and damage to back of cover, mainly from opening, as well as some scuffing on edges and corners, some age wear on both sides, and some toning on both sides, mainly on bottom right corner at front.
