1946 United States Cover ties 3c Stamp cd New Bedford-New York City Cover with a 3c Dark Violet Presidential Issue stamp on front cancelled with a Framed NEW BEDFORD MAR 21 1946 cancel on front. Cover also has a GIVE RED CROSS WAR FUND cachet across stamp, and has a letter inside. Cover sent to Broadway, New York City, NY, USA, and has a receiving clock cachet on back dated to MAR 1946. Cover has been opened at top edge. Cover has some tearing to top edge from opening, some minor creasing on corners, some age wear on both sides, mainly on top left corner at front and top right corner at back, and a toning spot on front of cover.
