1947 Soviet Union 30K Stamped Cover ties 5 stamps cd Moscow-Sydney Registered Cover with a preprinted 30K Blue Definitive stamp, a 60K Violet Views of Moscow, a 30K Green Tank parade in Red square stamp, and a 10K red brown Petlyakov Pe-2 Dive Bomber stamp on front. There is also a 5K Violet Yakovlev Yak-3 Fighter stamp on back. Stamps are cancelled with a Framed URSS 23 3 47 MOSCOW cancel on stamps. Cover has a registered Moscow label on front. Cover sent to Sydney, NSW, Australia, with a Moscow transit cancel on back dated to 25 3 47, a Lichhardt 21 JE 47 transit cancel on back, and a receiving cancel on back dated to 20 JE 47. Cover has been opened at top edge. Cover has some tear damage to top edge from opening, some scuffing and creasing on edges and corners, some age wear on both sides, some toning on stamp edges, and some general wear to both sides.
