Stamps and address are all on an address label on front. Cover sent locally to Hamburg, Germany, and has been opened at top edge. Covers like this from Germany during the period between 1945 and 1948 often have a large amount of stamps due to the poor economic conditions the country was enduring during occupation. These conditions would be mitigated by the 1950s, specifically during 1948 with an economic miracle. Cover has some tearing damage on top edge from opening, some scuffing on edges and corners, some age wear on both sides, and some general wear to both sides.
