1949 India Reg Building FDC ties 8A Stamp cd Bankipore-Jamalpur
Independence Day FDC commemorating Independence Day with a 8A Bluish Green Building commemorative stamp on front cancelled first day of issue with a Framed Double Ringed BANKIPORE 15 AUG 1949 cancel on stamp. Cover also has a Registered label on front. Cover sent to Jamalpur, with a receiving cancel on back dated to 16 AUG 49. Cover has been opened at back flap. Cover has some scuffing on edges and corners, some age wear on both sides, mild toning on back, toning on stamo edges, and some general wear to both sides.
