1949 South Africa Airmail Cover ties 7 stamps cd Stanger-Melbourne Airmail Cover with a 1.5p Multicoloured Goldmine stamp, a 6d Multicoloured Local Motives stamp, 2 1/2d Bluish Green The 75th Anniversary of U.P.U stamps, a 1.5d Brownish Red The 75th Anniversary of U.P.U stamp, a 3d Light Blue The 75th Anniversary of U.P.U stamp, and a 3d Violet Blue Inauguration of Voortrekker Monument stamp all on front cancelled with a Framed Double Ringed STANGER 22 DEC 49 cancel on stamps. Cover sent to Melbourne, VIC, Australia, and has been opened at top edge. Cover has some tearing on top edge from opening, some evident scuffing and creasing on both sides and on edges and corners, some minor damage to stamps, a horizontal crease through bottom edge, and some general wear.
