1954 Netherlands Child Care FDC ties 5 Stamps cd Gravenhage-Melbourne Registered Airmail First Day Cover commemorating Child Care with 5 Multicoloured Commemorative stamps on front cancelled first day of issue with an Unframed GRAVENHAGE 15 NOV 1954 cachet on stamps. Cover also has an Airmail label on front, and a Registered label on front. Cover sent initially to West Preston, Melbourne, Australia, and was then redirected to Darebin, Melbourne, with a GPO Sydney transit cancel on back dated to 22 NO 1954, an Ivanhoe transit cancel on back dated to 23 NOV 54, a Preston No. 18 receving? cancel dated 23 NOV 54, a Reservoir No. 19 transit cancel on back dated to 24 NOV 54, a Registered Melbourne 6 transit cancel on back dated to 24 NOV 54, and a transit/receiving Registered Melbourne 2 cancel dated to 27 NOV 54. Cover has been opened at back flap. Cover has some scuffing on edges and corners, some horizontal creasing on bottom edge, and some general wear to both sides.
