1958 Israel Airmail Reg Cover ties 2 stamps cd Tel Aviv-Yafo-CarltonAirmail Registered Cover with a 1000Pr Israel Merchant Marine Commemoration stamp and a 250Pr Grey Twelve Tribes of Israel stamp both on front cancelled with a Framed TEL AVIV YAFO 19 3 58. Cover also has a registered label on front, and a Red R Cancel on front. Cover was initially sent to Melbourne, Australia, but appears to have been rerouted, with a Sydney transit cancel on back dated to 31 MAR 58, a Elizabeth St Melbourne transit cancel on back dated the same, and a receiving cancel on back dated to 1 AP 58. Cover has been opened at back flap. Cover has some minor tearing on back flap from opening, some scuffing on edges and corners, some age wear on front, and some general wear to both sides.
