1960 Germany (DDR) 15pfg Stamped Philatelic Postcard 2 stamps cd Berlin Philatelic Postcard with a pre-printed 15pfg Reddish Brown President Wilhelm Pieck stamp on front cancelled with a framed Inner bar BERLIN 23 3 60 cancel on stamp. Card sent to Quedlinburg, DDR, Germany, with a receiving cancel on front dated to 4 4 60. Card interestingly has a Multicoloured 1/2d Ships Falkland Islands stamp cancelled with an ADMIRALTY BAY SOUTH SHETLAND ISLANDS 28 DE 59 cancel on stamp. Card was likely cancelled per special request in the Falkland islands for Philatelic reasons, and then was used as an actual Postcard in the DDR. Card has some scuffing on edges and corners, some evident creasing on corners and left side, and some general wear to both sides. Interesting Item.
