1963 Hong Kong Cover 10c Stamp cd Hong Kong w BFMO Singapore Cover with a 10c Violet QE2 stamp on front cancelled with a Framed HONG KONG 22 APR 1963 cancel on front. Cover also has a Correct Addressing Saves Delay cachet across stamp, an 11 Centimes T Tax cachet on front, and a BFMO (British Fleet Mail Office) SINGAPORE cachet on front. Cover was initially sent locally to Hong Kong, with a receiving cancel on back dated to 25 AP 63, but was taxed and redirected to the BFMO in Singapore. This was a post office on a Naval Base in Singapore, dedicated to sorting and sending mail to different ships on the Royal Fleet. Cover has been opened at top edge. Cover has some tearing damage on top edge and back flap from opening, some mild marking on back, some creasing on edges, and some general wear to both sides.
