Cover was posted at Sea Off Prince Edward Island, as evidenced by another Framed Oval OFF PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND 2 MAY 1982 cancel on front. Cover also has an Airmail Label on front, a Mammal research Project cachet on front, a Biological Study Programme MArion and Prince Edward Island cachet on front, a DEPT OF TRANSPORT HELICOPTER FLIGHT cachet on front, a cachett detailing information surrounding the MVSA AGULHAS voyage, a Neutron Research cachet on front, a Marion and Prince Edward Islands Research cachet on front, and a RSA ANTARCTIC PHILATELIC SOCIETY cachet on back. Cover sent to London, England, and has been opened at left side. Cover has some minor creasing/scuffing on corners, and some very mild general wear.
