c. 1979 Germany (DDR) Airmail Cover ties 2 Stamps cd Leipzig BPA-Sarasota Airmail Cover with a 25Pfg Multicoloured August Kekulé Stamp and a 40Pfg Purple Violet Brandenburger Tor Stamp both on front. Stamps are cancelled with a Framed LEIPZIG BPO ??????? cancel on stamps. Cancel is very unclear. Cover sent to Sarasota, FL, USA, and has been opened at back flap. Slight wear to edges and corners with some tearing damage to back flap and top edge, some creasing to corners, some toning/staining spots on front and back, mainly near top right corner at front, and some minor marking on back.
