Rare 1929 Indochina Registered Cover ties 2 Stamps cd Kien-An Cover with a 1c Orange 1927 New Daily Stamp and a 1927 Multicoloured 20c Local Motive Stamp on front cancelled with a Blue KIEN-AN 3 5 29 TONKIN Cancel on stamps and cover. Interesting Preprinted Residence of France in Kien-An at top left corner. Registered label on front. Cover sent to Paris with a Hai-Phong transit cancel on back dated 4 5 29, a Yokohama, Marseilles transit cancel on back dated 14 5 29 and a Paris receiving cancel dated 1 6 29. Cancels are unclear. Cover has been opened at bottom. Slight wear to edges and corners, with some toning on back and light marking on front.
